In the spirit of the holiday season, I have spent a lot of time thinking about for what I am most thankful. I have also spent a considerable amount of time thinking of what I can do in the year(s) to come that will make me more successful, more productive… “How can I work smarter- not harder, and make a profit?” As I thought about this in my personal life, a light bulb went off in my head for today’s blog. “Write a blog for your clients with simple suggestions that will make their marketing easier!” This will allow you to work “smarter” and not harder. So since this is the season of giving… I hope this helps you my friends. Here are my four marketing must haves that will not only save you time but also money.

Social Media Marketing Tools.

You know how much I (and hundreds of millions of others) love Facebook, but let’s think outside of the box for a moment shall we? Instead of logging into several social media accounts to broadcast your message, use social media publishing tools to do the work for you! Zola from our office wrote an awesome blog about HootSuite and all of the wonderful services that they provide. You may also want to check out companies such as Sprinklr, MediaFunnel, and Sprout for social media marketing and publishing tools

Content Creation Aids

Dust off that old dictionary kids, you might need it for this one. Are you ready? Wait for it. One of your greatest content writing tools is… a… thesaurus! I know! I know what you’re thinking, It cannot be! However, it can, and it will help you in your search for perfect content wording.  I’ll give you a moment to let the madness blow your mind but, once the smoke has settled, go online and check out a thesaurus.  Another stellar content creation tool is the one and only Microsoft PowerPoint. More than just a tool for business presentations, it can also be used to make professional eBooks for your clients, or a call to action for potential prospects.

SEO Tools

Google offers many useful marketing tools that will contribute to SEO success and best of all, these tools and services are FREE! Speaking first hand, I love SEO tools. Because of this, I feel more confident knowing that my writings are optimized to their fullest potential so that inquiring minds find my work. If you are not using a SEO tool yet, start today!

Sales Tools

Last and certainty not least, sales tools are the final installments of our marketing must haves.Customized landing pages contain database collection forms to help drive traffic to your website and leads to your sales desk. What do you do with all of the new clients you will receive from your inbound traffic? Put them in your Customer Relationship Management (CRM) program of course! Currently, we work with Basecamp for our CRM needs and what a pleasure it has been.  Keeping your clients happy has never been easier with their easy to use to-do lists, discussions, file uploading, and text documents.  Companies such as Zoho an salesforce also offer CRM programs that are guaranteed to make your life easier and clients much happier.  For more information on marketing or for your free marketing analysis give us a call today!
